We really liked this Swing. Our baby seems to enjoy his time in the swing. I am using A/C Power with the Cable which came with it. It makes slight noise when the motor tries to push the Swing back and forth. This swing won't work without manually making it to swing. The motor just keeps up the swing's pace. The Max speed is about perfect for our baby. I really like the music on this swing (It has 3 choices for that) The one with rain forest sounds is really good.
We had initially thought that the toys on the top of the swing would rotate, That would have been great, But it does not. Also a little light (Probably blinking or something) would have caught baby's attention.
Overall this is a very nice product for the Price range. Our baby goes to sleep without crying much, what else do we want!!

I loved how you could switch from front to back swinging and side to side....I think this turned out to be a great swing and a great value!

I loved this swing when I brought it home. I didn't mind that it was a little larger and not portable, I wasn't going for that. I loved the colors and the mobile, my son loved the fish the best. I loved the directions I could turn it to swing front to back or side to side, but he got around 15 lbs and I couldn't get it to swing him unless I started the push and adventually that stopped working with him in it at all. Worst of all, the batteries died way too often becuase it was working too hard, so we ended up using it as a napping spot, the mobile worked and music worked wonders but I felt that was a total waste of a swing. I was just disapointed, I read great reviews and some about the weight issue, but I always feel that people get bitter when things don't last for 35 lbs, or 1 year like they reccommend. I really did love this swing, it was fast which my son liked, but there were many speeds, the lowest setting was pretty slow. I wouldn't use this for bigger babies or kids that squirm becauase it is a good foot off the ground from the bottom of the seat. But all in all, if I had a lighter baby this would be a 5 star review!! I loved everything about it when I brought it home, just have a big and tall son and it stopped swinging! But we'll try it again on baby 2 someday it can't be a total loss.

I purchased this at Target. This swing is supposed to keep SWINGING a baby. Even at maximum power, it doesn't do anything other than make an annoying creeking sound. Stay away and buy some weights because your arm will need the muscle since you will be the one doing the baby swinging -- not this Fisher Price swing.

After a lengthy review process to find what we wanted, my wife and I decided on this little swing. I say little, but that would be a lie, these types of swings aren't little.
After using it for a short while, I can honestly say I love it. It's a great swing that's easy to use, simple to adjust, and pretty darn cute. Everything is very solid, I was not afraid that it would collapse or fall apart. It's also lighter than it looks, making it easy to move around to different rooms. The music isn't nearly as obnoxious as so many other musical baby toys, almost pleasant to listen to. It's not 100% sunshine and rainbows though.
I felt like there was a lot to put together. More than the crib. More than the car seat, stroller or pack and play. The directions are straightforward though, making it easy to put together. The motor makes noise. Most people can drown it out. I have to slam on my brakes if there is something rolling around in my back seat. My wife suggests I may not be able to drive once our daughter becomes more active and starts throwing things, we shall see. Sadly, we've tested other kinds (our friends have all had babies recently it seems) and they all make the same noise. That said, it does make the same level of noise no matter what the speed, so there's no need to worry about it getting louder.
It comes with a power cord, but it can run on batteries too. I haven't been able to check the battery life in this, so I can't vouch for it either way. The seat can face forward (rocking side to side), or sideways (rocking forward and backward). This was a nice little touch that makes it more convenient in case your baby prefers one over the other. The seat cover is relatively easy to take off, great for washing. At the same time it has plenty of points where it clips/straps on, so there's no worry about it coming off.
